Pear Cranberry Spinach Salad

Bag of baby spinach
2 pears
sugar
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup walnuts

Wash, peel and core pears.
Cut into slices and put in medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add 1/2 cup sugar.

Cook until tender, let cool and remove pears from juice.

Wash spinach and place in bowl.
Sprinkle with cranberries and walnuts.
Top with pears.

Best with a maple balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
